Thyroid Affirmation

I love affirmations. I think they are such a great tool and they can be used for any situation that arises. I recently learned of this affirmation for thyroid issues and thought I would share:

Spiritual meaning of thyroid problems: Humiliation. Feeling repressed or put down. Feeling as if you never get to do what you want.

Affirmation: I move beyond old limitations and allow myself to express freely and creatively.

It’s so important to address the spiritual side of you situation. Consider that the thyroid is located near the throat chakra. So trouble communicating would easily be associated with thyroid conditions.

I would love to hear your thoughts on the spiritual side of physical ailments. What affirmations do you use? What connections do you see between your physical body and your spirituality?

Is this from Louise Hay’s “You Can Heal Your Life”? That is one of my favorite books. Anytime I feel sick or unwell, I reach for that book for an affirmation. My favorite (always works) is for sore throats: “I release all restrictions and am free to be me.”
